EFG Bank bolsters Hong Kong, Greater China franchise
Seamus Yin named market group head with Miao Miao and Lianghan Chen as team heads and CROs

EFG Bank, a private banking group headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, has announced key appointments to further enhance its products and services for Hong Kong and Greater China clients.

Seamus Yin has been appointed as market group head, Hong Kong and mainland China, for ultra clients. Also, Miao Miao and Lianghan Chen have been named as team heads and client relationship officers (CROs), both reporting directly to Yin.

Yin brings over a decade of experience to the role, managing large portfolios and leading high-performing teams. He was previously managing director, global market manager of mainland China Offshore – South and West, at Citi Private Bank in Hong Kong. Prior to this, he worked at JP Morgan Private Bank in Hong Kong. He is also part of the regional senior management team and a member of the Asian Business Committee.

Miao was previously a director and team head at Citi Private Bank. Chen, with 20 years of industry experience, was also most recently a director and team head at Citi Private Bank. Prior to that, he held senior positions at JP Morgan Chase Private Bank in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong team will be further strengthened with the hiring of additional CROs Jack Wu, Ruby Chen and Savannah Sun.
