The Silk Road Fund ( SRF ) and China Energy Engineering Corporation ( CEEC ) have signed agreements to step up cooperation on global projects.
At a recent ceremony in Beijing, the two parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement and established a joint investment platform. SRF chairwoman Zhu Jun and CEEC chairman Song Hailiang attended the ceremony.
With the establishment of the investment platform, the partners aim to enhance synergy between their overseas strategies and leverage their respective resources.
They will tap SRF’s expertise in overseas investment and CEEC’s competitive advantages in its integrated, specialized and comprehensive capabilities across the energy value chain. They aim to break new ground in the fields of energy, power, and infrastructure so as to make overseas investments within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
