Lombard Odier has appointed Alfred Low as Hong Kong chief executive officer and head of North Asia markets for its private clients franchise, effective September 1, and Pei Pei Chern as senior relationship manager in Singapore, effective July 14, as part of the bank’s continued expansion in the region.
As head of North Asia markets, Low will oversee the development of the bank’s private clients division in Hong Kong and Singapore. He will also be CEO of Lombard Odier’s subsidiary in Hong Kong.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Low joins the bank from Indosuez Wealth Management, where he held the position of managing director, head of North Asia markets and strategic partnerships. Prior to this, he also held a variety of key positions at HSBC, Credit Suisse, and UBS.
Low will be based in Singapore before relocating to Hong Kong in the coming months. He will report to Omar Shokur, regional head for Asia, private clients.
As senior relationship manager, Chern will focus on deepening long-term client relationships in the region, with a particular focus on Taiwan. Based in Singapore, Chern will report to Low.
