Global consulting firm AlixPartners has promoted three company veterans with key roles in its Asia-Pacific business.

Shiv Shivaraman, partner, managing director and previously head of Asia, will assume the newly created role of vice-chair of Asia-Pacific.

Reshmi Khurana and Takuro Ueji, partners and managing directors, will become co-heads of Asia.

Khurana will continue to serve as Singapore country leader, while Ueji will continue as co-head of Japan, working alongside Tomoyuki Suzuki to lead the firm’s Japan business.

Shivaraman, in his new role as vice-chair of Asia-Pacific, will focus on accelerating the firm’s strategic growth priorities across the region, including expanding the firm’s geographic footprint and deepening sector expertise and supporting strategic investment opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions.

As co-heads of Asia, Khurana and Ueji will lead the firm’s operations and growth strategy across the region, alongside the Asia leadership team, to support clients as they navigate transformation, disruption and increasingly complex business environments.

“The appointments form part of AlixPartners’ continued expansion across Asia-Pacific, and reflects increasing client demand for senior-led advice and execution support across transformation, performance improvement, restructuring, risk and investigations,” the firm notes. “The expanded leadership team positions the firm to continue building its presence and capabilities across the region helping clients address critical business challenges.”
